How do I…

…reserve a group study room?

Small study rooms (some with erasable whiteboards) accommodating from four to eight people are located throughout the Library’s first and second floors. The rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We do not reserve rooms.

…eat in the Library?

Snack food (a bag of chips, chocolate, etc.) and covered drinks are allowed in the Library but as far as a real meal (Chinese takeout, a Subway sandwich, a pizza) we ask that you either step into the lobby on the first floor to consume those items or head over to the cafeteria.

…check out a book on the second floor?

Just bring it to the first floor’s Circulation desk! You can move books throughout the Library building’s floors (1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, 4th to 1st…) without any alarms going off 🙂 It’s only when you try exiting from the two main exits on the first floor (without the book being desensitized) that the Library gate will sound!

…make a copy of something?

To the left of the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of the Library are two photocopiers for public use. Copies are ten cents a page. There’s also a free scanner in that area as well and it’s free so… Your choice 🙂

Have any other questions? Just ask!
